Welcome to Cashmere & Tweed. We bring teenagers and young professionals inside the world of fashion. Reporting on fashion, beauty, health, entertainment, and so much more. Twice a year we bring you to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York and during the year we grant you access to some of the most exclusive events and stories.

Cashmere & Tweed was launched in August 2011. Since that point, this site has grown from one editor to over ten. We publish posts daily which are then seen by our thousands of viewers in the US and abroad.

September 2010 - Cashmere & Tweed started attending Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York during SS11. Tim Gunn personally invited our Executive Editor, Ryan Charchian, to the Project Runway Season 8 Finale. Since that time, we have gone back every season.

September 2011 - Cashmere & Tweed became the official blogging partner for All Access Fashion, the premier fashion event in Washington, D.C. This was the second year for event and was attended by more than 7,000 fashionable persons from Washington, D.C., also know as “Fashiontonians.”

February 2012 - During the FW12 season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Cashmere & Tweed brought on our very own photographer, Lauren Kristin. This ensured speedier reviews and exclusive images.

April 2012 - Cashmere & Tweed launched overseas in Sydney, Australia, and became accredited press for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. We sent an editor and photographer. Both reside in Australia and cover year round fashion events there.

July 2012 - Cashmere & Tweed becomes accredited press for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.

July 2012 - Cashmere & Tweed becomes accredited press for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami.

August 2012 - Cashmere & Tweed hosted our inaugural Summer Style School event with South Moon Under.

September 2012 - Now that Cashmere & Tweed has moved to Tumblr, they spent their Fashion’s Night Out with the creator of Tumblr, David Karp, at the Tumblr and Bergdorf Goodman 5F party.

September 2012 - Cashmere & Tweed becomes accredited press for the Spring/Summer 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week season.

Today - Cashmere & Tweed continues to grow and has moved their main editorial staff from Washington, D.C., to New York City.
